Hi! I experienced this trip already with my family last year… it was incredible! I definitely want to come back and bring with me other deaf travelers interested in this kind of adventurous journeys!


Day 1

Arrival in Kuala Lumpur, transfer to the hotel/hostel, welcome dinner with local food.

Day 2

  • Merdeka Square (Masjid Jamek station), Sultan Adbul Samad Building, the Mosque and other colonial-style buildings in the area.
  • Central Market (Pasar Seni station) located within an Art Deco building full of shops.
  • Chinatown, with typical Chinese restaurants and shops.
  • Menara KL, the famous Kuala Lumpur Tower from which you’ll be able to see the city landscape. There is a mini zoo nearby. 

Day 3

  • Batu Caves (train from KL Sentral station, around 30 minutes), natural caves that host the Hindu temple.
  • Back to Kuala Lumpur to visit Bukit Bintang – the shopping district (Bukit Bintang station), and Jalan Alor – full of street food and typical restaurants. 
  • Shopping mall Suria KLCC in the evening. It is the largest shopping in KL, right in front of the Twin Petronas Tower (KLCC station).

Day 4

  • Reach Melaka, city with a European colonial charm, by bus (around 3 hours) and transfer to the hotel/hostel.
  • Jonker walk, the street in the Chinese district with lots of antiques shops and Buddhist temples. Night markets are open Friday through Sunday from 8 pm to 12 am.

Day 5

Attractions in Melaka such as the Dutch Mill, catholic churches such as the Christ Church Melaka and the ruins of St. Paul’s Church, and the Famosa Fortress with the Porta de Santiago gateway. 

Rickshaw tour in the evening.

Day 6

  • Breakfast and off to Singapore from Melaka Sentral or from the mall Megamall.
  • Arrival in Singapore (around 4 hours) and transfer to hotel/hostel. According to the time of arrival, day off or some planned visits (see below).

Day 7

  • Mosque Masjid Sultan (Bugis station) and Muslim district, Raffles Hotel – the most ancient and luxury hotel in Singapore, where many famous actors, writers and singers like Charlie Chapin and Michel Jackson have stayed. 
  • Padang, the colonial quarter with the old and new Parliaments, the Victoria Theatre, the National Gallery and the Padang park.
  • In the evening, Marina Bay (Bayfront station) located within a big shopping mall and casino. The Marina Bay Sands is the resort with the world’s largest elevated pool that offers stunning views of the city.

Day 8

  • Clarke Quay (Clark Quay station), the exclusive district with cafés and restaurants with river view and Marina Bay Sands view. 
  • Chinatown (Chinatown station), with typical markets and Buddhist temples.
  • Orchard Road (Orchard station), the street dedicated to the shopping.
  • Night Safari in the evening, with an open-air tour of the zoo on the Tram safari (last admission at 10 pm).

Day 9

  • Universal Studios (I haven’t been there as it was not suitable for my daughter).
  • Return trip to Italy (from Singapore or Kuala Lumpur).


This program is not particularly demanding. A small physical effort is needed for walks in the city only. 

The pace and schedules are different each day, with some days being more intense than others. Backpacking is mandatory, as there will be several changes of hotels and transportations.

Petty cash fund includes

  • Local transportations not included in the package cost
  • Catamaran ride on Day 6
  • Coordinator petty cash
  • Activities and extras that the group agrees to make + coordinator share

The petty cash fund is established on site and will be of about €200. Depending on the needs, the amount can change and raising it may be necessary. Any left funds will always be refunded.

NOTE: to be able to travel to this destination, a Visa must be requested well in advance of the departure date, and we will provide any necessary document on our end.
